About Me
- My name is Jason W. Voelke, and I am a veteran, a former Registered Nurse, a husband, a father, and an experienced trial attorney. For more than 30 years, I've dedicated my life to defending and protecting people in one way or another.
From the Marines to the ER
- I started my professional life in service to our country and completed a six-year tour of duty as a Navy Corpsman (medic) assigned to a Marine Corps infantry battalion. After leaving the military, I went to nursing school and embarked on a twelve-year career as a Registered Nurse. I worked everywhere from ER to ICU to post-op and finished as the charge nurse of a spinal cord injury unit.
- During those twelve years of working in hospitals I saw the devastating consequences of inexcusable errors and negligence. Sadly, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers are sometimes to blame, and I witnessed too many trusting families pay the price. Those experiences motivated me to take action on a larger scale, to step into the legal arena, and to fight for those who were harmed. Patient advocacy and client advocacy are extremely important to me.
From Saving Lives to Seeking Justice
- I started my legal career fighting for people injured by defective medical devices, gaining extensive trial experience at both the state and federal levels. Along the way, I helped secure over $75 million for hundreds of clients.
- Today, I focus on families whose loved ones have been injured or killed due to negligent care in nursing homes and hospitals. I bring the same intensity, knowledge, and compassion I had as a nurse into the courtroom. Thus far, I've helped over seventy victims and their families get the justice and compensation they deserve.
