HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. — Voelke Law Firm has reached a $1.8 million settlement with two of five defendants in a healthcare negligence case involving a Kentucky woman who suffered a severe brain injury due to anesthesia mismanagement during a routine colonoscopy.

The settlement represents a significant step forward in the case, though litigation remains ongoing against three remaining defendants.
